To Nova Scotia and back

While I can’t recommend the 16->20 hour drive each way, spending some quality time at the seashore in Nova Scotia was a lot of fun. The drive could have been worse too. Luckily the moose we saw (2) were just approaching the road rather than already astride it.
Will loved spending time with his Grandma and investigating her enormous house. He seems to love the beach almost as much as he loves trucks.
As always, flickr tells the tale. I should probably point out that although I’m the one posting the pics, I’m obviously *in* a lot of the photos, so I have to give props to Kristina for the quality of the photography. She has taken some fantastic photos.

Grandma loved spending time with Will too! And , of course, with you and Kris. Hopefully, next year, you won’t have to spend most of your time here working for Mozilla.
I notice that several of the photos show him clinging to his cars. Note to all friends and relatives - if looking for a gift for Will, he has discovered Hot Wheels, Dinky cars or whatever you wish to call them - nice, durable, SMALL cars that fit well into a very full home. And he rarely put them down, even when playing the piano.
Even though I currently have 4 other guests, the house seems empty without you and Will.
Welcome back! I would also like to extend some props to Kristina for her pics. Nice work.
Will’s a really cute kid.
Thanks, Rob! It’s all about taking about 25 photos of the same subject hoping that one will turn out. And I was really lucky with the low tide that day leaving a film of water on the sand that provided a mirror-like surface for reflections. Love those reflections…
It looks like you all had a wonderful holiday. The ocean and the skies are beautiful and the baby looks like he had a fabulous time. I love the one of Chris and Will walking on the beach in matching outfits. Chris, Will and the lighthouse is a great shot, and Kris, Will and the log is a favorite too. Sunsets and fogs are equally pretty!
