Better to burn out…

We didn’t do ourselves any favors tonight with regards to the impending dismantling of our team. Squash finished out the pre-Xmas portion of the ultimate season with an on-field dismantling of Yellow acid Kool-aid experiment, to the tune of 30-8. For those of you scoring at home, that puts us in first place with a plus/minus of +44. Yes, we just doubled our already respectable plus/minus in a single game. That’s officially classified as a whimpering annihilation — I looked it up.

It’s been nice playin’ with y’all.

Check it out, your team got butchered! You get to stay with them though, as opposed to last year’s banishment though the team won’t look quite the same. The news is being spread today, here’s your blog exclusive:

    ORANGE:
    Out: Brent Cournoyer(Yellow), Carl Sharpe(White),
    Kelly Thompson(White)
    In: Elliott Greenberg(Grey), Emilia Michaud(Grey),
    Daniel Sauvé(IID)

See you on the field in the new year.

  2. We’ll miss Brent, that’s for sure. He was certainly the most athletically gifted player I’ve played with in recent memory.

However, as I remarked previously, I didn’t think our team was extraordinarily talented (myself least of all), but we all bought in to our team philosophy. I’ve never been on a team before where the whole team went out for drinks after every game.

At least I know Elliot coming in. Hopefully his Expos pant will match well with orange. Never played with Emilia or Daniel though. If Daniel is coming up from IID, maybe he is shit-hot enough to replace Brent!

Brent is a ridiculous athlete, I’m glad I don’t have to play against him tonight!
